Larry

You may see a border collie in some of my work.  That’s Larry.  He is gone now but he will never be forgotten.   It would be a bit dramatic to say he was the love of my life but he left a huge gaping hole in my heart and to say that I adored him would be an understatement.   I know that dog, cat or horse lovers will understand.  Maybe I haven’t quite let him go and that’s why  I keep finding my paint brush dipping into the black and white paint and before I know it, there he is in the middle of a beach scene or dinner party scene.  He loved people and almost demanded that they think he was great and love him.  I was selling my house once and he ran in the back door and jumped right up on top of the kitchen table, twirling around like a mad thing.  The prospective buyers jaw dropped as they were standing in the kitchen at the time.  Whatever was going on he just had to be in the thick of it.  God I miss that cretin.
